There are many types of gamblers. Some people gamble just for fun and only on occasion. Others gamble routinely as their main source of entertainment but their gambling does not come before other priorities. Some begin seeking fun and entertainment and find themselves taken over by the problem, often after an initial big win or stressful life experience. For this last group, gambling can lead to devastating consequences in relationships, finances, and emotional and physical health.

Gambling problems affect all ages, economic brackets, genders, educational levels, cultures etc.
